With four distinct language groups as well as a number of ethnic minorities, Switzerland is a European Union in miniature. One of the best places to experience this diversity is in the east of the country, where the watershed between rivers flowing towards northwards and those flowing towards the Black Sea also defines ethnic boundaries. Bridging this gap is the amazing Bernina Railway, an engineering wonder that in 2010 will be celebrating its 100th anniversary
