As Zimbabwe fades off the tourist stage, with the "new" Zimbabwe dollar trading at 250 (equal to 250,000 old Zimbabwe dollars) to one US dollar in March 2007, the new star on the southern Africa stage is Zambia. Access to the world-famous Victoria Falls via Zambia's second-biggest city Livingstone (serviced regularly by South African Airways) is a breeze, and the National Parks of Zambia are some of the world's best. Add in Zambia's outgoing and friendly people, a harmonious society and a strong currency, and the travel recipe becomes unbeatable
