Harry Nanya, Australia’s “black outlaw”, survived with his wives and many children for over thirty years in harsh wilderness country NE of Wentworth NSW, while on the run from the police. His namesake, Harry Nanya Tours, is a new Aboriginal-owned and operated company offering visitors a total immersion in the Barkindji culture of Lake Mungo, Lake Victoria and Scotia Sanctuary, parts of the Willandra Lakes World Heritage Area.
