It’s dusk and in the fading light, Woodwark Bay is simply mesmerizing. The last of the sun’s rays plays on the expansive, waterway overlooking the Whitsunday Passage and overhead a full moon rises majestically over the string of islands that make up the Whitsunday Island group. A manicured green lawn dotted with swaying coconut trees stretches right to the water’s edge where small waves crash reassuringly upon the shore. A warm breeze brushes my cheek and for a moment it feels like I am the only one here in my own deserted piece of paradise, apart from a lone catamaran anchored way off in the distance....
