Thomas E. King is Executive Editor of Media East Pty Ltd, a 33 year established international editorial agency providing commissioned (only) illustrated features on prime leisure destinations and select golf travel venues to an established network of mass circulation and specialist publications in Australia and Asia. He specialises in writing about Australia, the Pacific and Asia with a particular interest in India, a country he has visited some 30 times. A career journalist celebrating 40 years of writing in 2009, Tom has been honoured with numerous commendations including dual Gold Awards from the Pacific Asia Travel Association. As well, he is the first travel journalist in the world to have twice won the Association of Southeast Asian Nations Tourism Association's Award for Excellence in Tourism Journalism.
